| The ASI-771 Radar Antenna Test Panel is designed to facilitate alignment, testing, and troubleshooting of the Bendix DAA-4A Drive Unit/REA-4( ) Planer Array Radar Antenna. The ASI-771 contains circuitry to convert the azimuth synchro transmitter input of the DAA-4A/REA-4( ) and DAA-4B Radar Antenna into a DC signal which varies with the changing position at the antenna. This DC signal is further processed to control the azimuth drive of the radar antenna through a limited azimuth scan (approx. 120?). The ASI-771 also has the ability to vary the elevation of the antenna in tilt up or tilt down. The ASI-771 is supplied with four cables required for interface and proper operation. |
