| Operational Description: |

| The ASI-416 DME Test Set works in conjunction with Squawk Naut, ATC-1200Y3, or ATC-1400 to test the Collins DME-40, DME Indicator (339F-12, IND-40/-41), and a VHF Control as a system. The test set includes five pendant cables for interconnection of the DME-40, Indicator, VHF Control (313N-4D), and associated DME test equipment. The VHF Control is not required if the ATC-1400 is used to channel the DME-40. The ASI-416 comes wired for the A TC-1400. Interconnection to a Squawk/Naut I/II requires the optional ASI-41-6A Adapter Cable. See the Optional Equipment list for alternate test equipment available from ASI for testing the DME-40. |
