| The ASI-177-2 VOR/ILS System Test Panel is a multifunction test panel used for testing and aligning airborne navigation receiver systems including the AN/ARN-123, AN/ARN-127, AN/ARN-147, VIR-130A, and RN-260B. Interface connection facilities are provided for a navigation receiver, remote frequency control unit, and supporting test equipment including VOR and ILS audio generators,and RF signal generator. The test panel contains all the necessary controls, switches, synchros, and wiring to simulate a single system installation. An integral frequency control unit is included for testing and aligning receivers without their associated control units. All VOR, LOC, GS and MB receiver outputs are accurately measured using precision meters and other high-quality indicators. |
