| Operational Description: |

| The ASI-123 Test Panel is designed to test the DME portion of the Collins BDI-36 Bearing Distance Indicator. The test panel provides switching, test points, and interconnection between the uut and an ARINC 568 DME data source in order to perform the test procedure outlined in the unit maintenance manual. The ARINC 568 source can be either a Colt CTS-703 with CTA-339B1 Test adapter (ASI-12-3B) or an ASI-176A with an ASI-12-3C cable.
