| The ASI-931101-100-1 Breakout Box (BOB) is used to verify and troubleshoot the Receiver Decoder Unit (RDU) of a Rockwell Collins Tailwind TV aircraft installation. The breakout box is supplied in a suitcase with two RDU interconnect cables. The BOB provides breakout capability of the aircraft RDU interface signals to facilitate checking, testing and injecting signals. The RDU is removed from the aircraft RDU tray, then a cable (ASI-930412-100-1) is connected from the RDU tray to the BOB. Another cable (ASI-931412-101-1) connects the BOB to the removed RDU. Additional cables that may be required during testing are listed in the optional equipment section below. |
