| The ASI-810-3 is designed to test the Bendix/King / Chelton DMS-44A DME System (DM-441 Band SD-442B) and TRS-42A Transponder System (TR-421 Band CD-422B). The Test Panel provides switching, monitoring, test points, and interconnection required for testing. Known good (user supplied) CDU's (DME and Transponder) must be installed in the test panel for proper operation. The ASI-81 0-3 is also capable of testing the DMS-44 DME System (DM-441A / SD-442A) and TRS-42 Transponder System (TR-421A / CD-422A). However optional cables (ASI-80-03C / ASI-80-03D) are required in order to test these systems. Since the ASI-81 0-3 tests the components as a complete system, a known good system (Receiver and CDU) is required in order to test the individual components. |
