| The ASI-810-2 is designed to test the Bendix/King/Chelton VCS-40A VHF COM System (VC-401B and CD-402B), VCS-40C VHF COM System (VC-401C and CD-402C) and VNS-41A NAV System (VN-411B, CD-412B, and CD-413B). The Test Panel provides switching, monitoring, test points, and interconnection required for testing. Known good (user supplied) CDU's (COM and NAV) must be installed in the test panel for proper operation. The ASI-81 0-2 is also capable of testing the VCS-40 COM System (VC-401A/CD-402A) and VNS-41 NA V System (VN-411 A/ CD-412A). However optional cables (ASI-80-02F / ASI-80-02G) are required in order to test these systems. Since the ASI-81 0-2 tests the components as a complete system, a known good system (Receiver and CDU) is required in order to test the individual components. |
