| Operational Description: |

| The ASI-810-1 is designed to test the Bendix/King/Chelton DFS-43A ADF System. This system includes the DF-431B Receiver, CD-432B Control Display Unit (CDU), and AT -434A Loop/Sense Antenna. The Test Panel provides switching, monitoring, test points, and interconnection required to test the DFS-43A System. A known good (user supplied) CDU must be installed in the test panel for proper operation. The ASI-810-1 is also capable of testing the DFS-43 ADF System (DF-431A / CD-432A/ AT-434A). However the optional ASI-80-01C cable is required in order to test this system. Testing of the AT-434A Antenna requires the ASI-80-01B Switch Box. Since the ASI-810-1 tests the DFS-43/-43A as a complete system, a known good system (Receiver, CDU, and Antenna) is required in order to test all of the individual components. |
