| The ASI-772 Test Panel works in conjunction with common shop test equipment (Voltmeter / Oscilloscope) to test and align the Bendix/King KG-102, KG-102A, and KSG-105 Directional Gyros, which are part of the KCS-55/55A and KCS-305 Gyrocompass Systems. The test panel includes all test points, switching, signal monitoring, and power control required to test the gyro. The panel also incorporates a flux valve simulator, gyro simulator, compass indicator, and a KA-51 ( ) slaving accessory. The ASI-772 comes equipped with two test cables. Cable 1 (ASI-77-2A) is used to connect the uut (main unit and gyro) to the test panel main unit connector. Cable 2 (ASI-77-2B) is used to connect the gyroscope itself to the the test panel gyro connector. |
