| The ASI-488 is a remanufactured TS-488A/UP Echo Box that has been adapted to fit into a standard 19" rack. The Echo Box is used to check for proper operation of X-Band radar equipment operating in the frequency range of 8990 to 9610 MHz. The ASI-488 is used to make radar equipment checks such as: measurement of transmitter average power output, transmitter frequency spectrum, radar transmitter for multiple moding and frequency pulling, and T-R box and receiver speed of recovery. The ASI-488 has also been modified to include a detector output which can be switched so that the detected rf output may be viewed on an oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer or the test panel meter. Two optional cables are offered for use with the ASI-488:
ASI-48-8A Standard RF cable (meets minimum specifications).
ASI-6042 Special high quality, low-loss, highly flexible RF cable (recommended for peak performance). |
