| Operational Description: |
|
| The ASI-1003 Test Set is a portable device for testing the operation of pneumatic aircraft flow control valves. The ASI-1003 meets the following requirements:
1. Provides controllable 28 vdc at 2 amps from a standard 120 VAC 50/60 Hz outlet or a 28 vdc aircraft battery with an on/off switch.
2. 100-120 PSI regulated shop air to be used to operate flow control valves.
3. Provides controllable 18-20 PSI filtered air for the firewall and ambient air valve that can release air quickly.
4. Provides controllable 60-80 PSI filtered air to bleed air inlet.
5. Functionally test flow controls on the bench or installed in the aircraft.
6. 0-30 PSI pressure gauge for checking flow control regulator.
7. Three additional AN-4 caps for open lines.
8. Items connected to the control valve (ASI-10-03A/B/C/F) can operate the part on the bench or installed on the aircraft (8 foot hoses and control cable). The ASI-1003 and accessories are housed in a light weight portable watertight/airtight resin case. |
