| The ASI-415-1 Air Data Test Panel is a word generator/receiver and power/timing source used to verify proper operation of the Collins ADS-80/81/82 Air Data System units individually or together as a system. Seven pendant cable assemblies and a 3-wire diagnostic probe assembly provide an interface with the individual units. signal switching and monitoring is controlled by the ASI-415-1 front panel and the video terminal/keyboard which is included with the test panel. The ASI-415-1 can transmit and receive Manchester, ARINC and pulse density words to verify proper unit operation. The ASI-415-1 is supplied with a video terminal and an extender assembly kit (ASI-2227-001). The ASI-2227-001 (638-2227-001) includes the six extenders required to access the internal circuit cards of the various ADS-80/81/82 units. |
