| Operational Description: |

| The ASI-357 Test Panel facilitates testing of King DME and TACAN avionics systems. The ASI-357 is a direct replacement for the King DME Test Panel and will test the KDM-706, KN-62, KN-63, KN-64, and KTU-709 'by the book'. The ASI-357 will also test the KDI-572, KDI-573, KDI-574 DME indicators. The ASI-357 requires a BCD/2X5 Control Head (KFS-560B) and a Slip Code Control Head (KX-170A / -170B, KX-175A / -175B, or KFS-562) for proper operation. Both of the control heads are user supplied. Cables required for testing are listed below under optional equipment |
