| Operational Description: |

| The ASI-257 is used for the testing and troubleshooting of the DME-451 System. It provides DME channel selection, X/Y mode, frequency hold, selected NAV annunciation, and RNAV mode selection. It also outputs selected voltages, and suppressor, video, distance gate, and identify signals. The ASI-25-7A cable provided with the Test Set interconnects the TCR-451 DME Transceiver, the IND-451/450/450C Indicator, and the ASI-257. |
