| Operational Description: |
|
| The ASI-226 Interface Panel provides the interconnection between various components of AN/ARN-13(V) Airborne TACAN System and the 972V-1 Test Set. The ASI-226 in conjunction with the 972V-1 and a TACAN Beacon Simulator will provide pre-installation testing and the troubleshooting of the AN/ARN-139(V) System. Simulated in-flight condition can be duplicated to test performance and isolate faults of the system components to the module or card level. All cabling required to physically connect the ASI-226 to the 972V-1 is included as attached pendent cables extending from the front of Interface Panel. Alternate HSI cables for the 972V-1 are listed in the optional equipment section. |
