| Operational Description: |

| The ASI-214 Flightily Test Set is designed for in-aircraft testing and fault isolation of the Collins TDR-94/94D Mode S Transponder system. The ASI-214 plugs directly between the aircraft wiring harness and the system control head to provide a quick and easy way to determine which component of the transponder system is malfunctioning. Complete testing requires an ARINC 429 Bus Reader and a Digital Volt Meter. The ASI-214 requires a ASI-21-4X Test Kit for proper operation. Test kit selection is dependent upon which control head is installed in the aircraft. Each test kit includes aircraft and control head interconnect cables and a test panel overlay. |
