| The ASI-199 Radio Altimeter Test Panel is designed to facilitate testing, adjustment, and troubleshooting of the Bendix ALA-51 A Radio Altimeter and INA-51A1BN Radio Altimeter Indicator. The ASI-199 includes two main sections, a test panel (ASI-199-1) and a precision delay line (ASI-199-3). The ASI-199 includes all switching, metering, calibrated delays, attenuators, indicators and interconnecting cables required to operate and function test the ALA-51 A Radio Altimeter System. The Test Panel has provisions for connecting an INA-51 indicator under test in addition to connecting a test indicator to assist in the alignment and testing of the ALA-51 A Radio Altimeter. Built in test features permit the servicing and calibration of indicators on the bench without the additional requirement of a known good ALA-51A Radio Altimeter. The ASI-199 includes seven interconnecting test cables and two extender boards required testing for the ALA-51 A and INA-51 ( ). |
