| The ASI-174 Radar Indicator Test Panel provides a convenient, self-contained means for testing, alignment, and troubleshooting the Bendix PPI-1 L, PPI-1 N, PPI-1 P, PPI-H, and PPI-1 U Weather Radar Indicators. The ASI-174 contains power supply, wave form generator, and azimuth circuitry thus eliminating the need for other system components. Front panel controls facilitate the performance of numerous tests to evaluate the proper operation of the PPI-1 ( ). When used in conjunction with the ASI-743 (AIT-4A) TCAS PPT Adapter Test Panel the ASI-174 has the capability to test TCAS modified PPI-H and PPI-1U Indicators. The ASI-174 includes three test cables required for proper operation. |
