| Operational Description: |
|
| The ASI-700-2 DME/LRA Discrete Function Interface Unit (DFIU) is designed to test the Collins ARINC 700/900 series DME/LRA Line Replacement Units (LRU). The ASI-700-3 works in conjunction with an ARINC 429/629 Data Bus Generator (user supplied) to provide the LRU with all voltages, discretes, control inputs, and outputs required for 'by the book' testing per the Collins maintenance manual. The ASI-502 can be used as a DME/LRA ARINC 429 control head simulator (The ASI-502 will not take the place of the T1200). Accessory test cables, test point overlays, and various test fixtures are listed in the Optional Equipment Section. |
