The Universal ATR Breakout Extender Cables provide access to all of the pins on the rear connector of a Collins avionics unit(equipped with a Thinline connector). The LRU can be extended from its rack in the aircraft so that signal checks and monitoring can be performed on each individual wire via the test jacks mounted in the cable chassis. Consult the matrix on the PDF for LRU compatibility. The ASI_52-1/-2 provide access to 52 signal pins(half height Thinline connector) as well as two RF connections. The cables are 4 feet long and configured in the following fashion: ASI-52-1: 52 pin breakout with left side mounted test jacks. ASI-52-2: 52 pin breakout with right side mounted test jacks. ASI-52-3: 52 pin extender cables(without test jacks). The ASI-60-1/-2/-3 provide access to 60 rear connector signal pins (half height Thinline). The cables are 4 feet long and configures in the following: ASI-60-1: 60 pin breakout with left side mounted test jacks. ASI-60-2: 60 pin breakout with right side mounted test jacks. ASI-60-3: 60 pin breakout with right and left side mounted test jacks (30 each side). ASI-60-4: 52 pin extender cables(without test jacks). When combines together, the ASI-60-1/-2/-3 will functionally replace the Collins CTS-10. The ASI-80-1/-2 provide access to 80 rear connector signal pins (full height Thinline). The cables are 6 feet long and configured in the following fashion: ASI-80-1: 80 pin breakout with chassis mounted test jacks. ASI-2: 80 pin extender cable (without test jacks). Three ASI-80-1's used in unison will functionally replace the Collins CTS-9. The extender cables (ASI-52-3, ASI-60-4, ASI-80-2) can be used in place of a breakout cables when LRU rear connector pin access is not required. Direct (form, fit, function) replacements for Collins CTS-9/ CTS-10 are listed in optional equipment. |
