| The ASI-426 Radar System Test Panel facilitates testing of the Bendix RDR-1500 and RDR-1500B Radar Systems. The ASI-426 simulates the aircraft vertical reference source, NAV system, DME, and other avionics to enable complete testing of all radar system functions. The Test Panel will also simulate a radar system receiver-transmitter (RT) unit and/or an antenna drive unit to allow testing of the interface unit, control unit and radar indicator. The ASI-426 may be used to test the complete RDR-1500/1500B Radar System or to determine the operational status of any unit of the system. The Test Panel is comparable to the complete aircraft wiring harness. In conjunction with standard shop test equipment, it allows one unit at a time to be tested or aligned by using known serviceable 'black boxes' elsewhere in the test setup. The user supplied CN-1506A mounts directly into the ASI-426 faceplate. |
