| The ASI-244-2 Radar Indicator Test Panel is designed to facilitate testing, alignment, and troubleshooting of the Bendix PPI-1TB(M) Weather Radar Indicator and CON-1TB(M) Ant Azimuth Control. The Test Panel contains a power supply, video generator, pattern generator, color generator, and azimuth circuitry, thus eliminating the need for other system components during testing of the PPI-1TB(M) Radar Indicator. The ASI-244-2 also contains an azimuth motor drive board which simulates the ANT-1TB(M) sector scan antenna movement. This added circuitry, in conjunction with the ASI-244-4 Test Adapter, allows testing of the CON-1TB(M) Antenna Azimuth Control. The ASI-244-2 includes the PPI-1TB(M) interconnect cable (ASI-24-42A), CON-1TB(M) Test Adapter (ASI-244-4) and cable (ASI-24-42B). Test panels designed to test other units of the RDR-1FB(M) Weather Radar System are also available from Avionics Specialist, Inc. These test panels are listed in the optional equipment section below. |
