| The ASI-203 is used to isolate faults and perform routine flight-line maintenance tests on the AL-101/-101A Radio Altimeter Systems. The test set requires a user supplied 339H-1 ( ) Indicator for proper operation. The ASI-203 can be used for functional bench checks of the Collins 860F-1/-4 Receiver-Transmitter and the 339H-() indicator. The ASI-203 also provides capability to test the ground proximity warning system (GPWS). The ASI-203 is enclosed in a 2-piece rugged drawn-aluminum case. The ASI-203-M1K Meter Retrofit Kit (listed in the optional equipment section) is a replacement meter for the Collins 980N-1 meter (cpn 458-0815-040) which is no longer available. The ASI-203-M1K mounts in place of the obsolete meter and requires no modification of the 980N-1 faceplate. |
